KB Cards

Hi and welcome!  I am Kristen Bartel and I want to thank you for visiting me here on my blog for all things papercraft.  I hope you leave feeling inspired!

I'm a mechanical engineer by day living in the Saskatchewan prairies, but enjoy spending my winter free time papercrafting. I started making cards and scrapbook pages with my mom when I was twelve, and after graduating from university rediscovered my love for this hobby.

After sharing cards on instagram for two years, I decided it was time to make the leap to starting a blog. I like the freedom of sharing more information on how to recreate each project than the tiny instagram grids allow.

Outside of papercrafting, I operate a small cut flower farm which takes up my remaining free time.  My husband is a fantastic supporter of both hobbies, and I wouldn't be able to do it without his help.
